Numeracy
Our students are explicitly taught concepts in number, algebra, measurement, geometry, statistics and probability. They are required to demonstrate fluency and understanding, to be able to problem-solve and to reason across all these areas.
Where possible, links are made between these areas as well as other disciplines so that students can make connections and not see each topic as a stand-alone subject.
Students are encouraged to pose questions and to discover answers, patterns and features for themselves.
